Plenty Valley seeks coach

The Plenty Valley Cricket Club (PVCC) seeks applications for the position of coach of the club's two female premier cricket teams.

Based in Watsonia, PVCC is a strong and inclusive club, with teams also affiliated in the VSDCA (4 senior) and DVCA (3 senior, 8 junior & 1 vets). We seek an individual who can develop and sustain a winning culture, improve player confidence and abilities through training and match day feedback and contribute to the overall success of the club.

The Women's Premier competition feeds directly into Cricket Victoria's female high-performance program and in particular the VicSpirit team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to coach at an elite level with the challenge of developing young players capable of succeeding in Premier Cricket.

PVCC players include Australian representative Jess Cameron and VicSpirit player Kirsty Lamb (winner of the 2012-13 Commonwealth Bank Future Star Award).

Minimum Level 2 coaching qualification required - applicants with Level 1 and a commitment to complete Level 2 will also be considered.

Term and remuneration negotiable.

For further information please contact PVCC President Darren Callahan on 0413 055 829. Applications close Friday 12th April 2013.
